Crystal Waters is an american singer who was born in 1964.
She had been writing songs for many artists, and her first single, which was Gyspy Woman, was orginally for the singer Ultra Nate. However, first she recorded a short demo, and the producers liked her version of the song, they signed her and the song was never even given to Ultra Nate.
The song is most famous for its repeated lyrics 'La Da Dee La Da Da' and reached number 8 in the 100 Billboard hits and did even better in Europe by reaching number 2.
She went on to release many more dance hits, however none topped her success than Gyspy Woman (She's Homeless)
